Imagine this: Fighting everywhere you look. There are families you may see one second, but the next second they have disappeared. Everywhere you look there is evidence of bombs and you can’t have one moment to look away. Syria is the battleground of one of the biggest and most violent civil wars we have seen taken place. There are innocent people that are dying from every side of the conflict. From where I am standing, there is no end to this gruesome event. The president, Bashar al-Asshad caused controversy with his policies and of course there were a few rebels. Several countries sided with each side and it started to get heated. That’s where Isis comes into play. Isis, or officially known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, founded their own part of the spectrum when they left the rebels and made their own side on the war. They have been a part of so many programs to help children and communities that need it which are all improving thanks to UNICEF (UNICEF). They are working for the struggling children and families around the world, and we can be a part of that. Wouldn't you want someone out there for you when you were alone? UNICEF is that rock that falling communities can count on time and time again. UNICEF is making sure that every person has the pathway to a bright future (UNICEF).
As I said before, UNICEF does a tremendous job serving others that need that extra push. From the 44% decrease of children not going to school to making sure that drinkable water around the world is safe, UNICEF has been there for broken communities at all times (UNICEF). They're doing it to give back and they are not holding back whatsoever. 90% of their money goes to the people around the world through research and supplies (UNICEF). This organization is definitely one of the most selfless organizations on this
