To me, being civic-minded means be a person who cares and is compassionate about the community. This also means to be active in civic affairs and being concerned about the issues of the community. As a health services management and community development major, I believe it is my duty as a leader to show concern about the conditions and issues of my community. My number goal is to fight health disparities once I graduate in December. I have experienced health disparities and I have made it my passion to fight for equality. It is important to me for everyone to have equal and quality care.
