Inside the humid rainforest of Indonesia, Costa Rica, and the Amazon there lives a cat-like animal called a civet. A civet has a lean body, short legs, and a long tall. Civets are mostly found in the rain forest and eat ripe coffee cherries. The coffee is made during the digestive process the coffee cherries and the pulp of the beans are removed. This is why the kopi luwak which is the name of the coffee has such a unique flavor . After the coffee cherries are popped out, they are cleaned and sorted. The high price for the Kopi Luwak is so expensive because there are only some coffee that the civets like. The Civets like a bush called Arabica coffee bush .The bush only grows during the spring and the summer. Likewise, the civet is highly endangered
