City Of Fallen Angels Essay

In her book , City of Fallen Angels, Cassandra Clare uses three main characters, Clary, Jace and Simon. Throughout the book she shows the conflicts that each character has and in the end shows how they are all were connected. In the book some new and old characters are introduced such as Lilith and Alec. IN the end she uses a huge clifhangar that’ll make you rush to the bookstore for the next book. All in all i liked the book because of the unexpected plot twists and great characters such as Jace’s humorous vanity and Simon’s likable personality.

she is often said to look like her mother, jocelyn. Many people such as jace or simon see her as beautiful but she doesn't see herself as beautiful like her mother. Jace in the book is described as a tall muscular blonde with angular features like his father. Simon in the book is described as slim, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is like clary and is good looking but doesn't thinks so. In the book the characters experience changes from the beginning to the end . Jace n the beginning of the book is scared to go near clary because of his nightmares of killing her. These dreams keep him up at night and keep him from eating which weaken him. In the end of the book he goes to idris to be cured of his horrible dreams. Instead of being cured though something goes wrong and instead he becomes worse. Clary in the beginning of the book doesn't know much about shadow hunters but as time goes on she learns more. IN the beginning of the book simon is very confused about who s trying to kill him and doesn't know much about being a vampire. THen towards the end he accepts what he is and finally figures out that its lilith who is sending people to kill
