Citgo refinery client focused project report The purpose of this paper is to assess the needs of the Citgo refinery population that attended the refine my waistline program. To attend analyzed needs a plan was develop to increase the success of further sessions. The plan included goal and objectives, nursing interventions, implementation and last evaluation.
Assessment
Overview Citgo refinery is located on 900 Acres of land in Lemont, IL. The refinery commitment is to provide safety ad health by providing resources to achieve excellence. Hence, they have a medical department with two nurses employed and a contracted physician. The department provides physicals, drugs screen, counseling and many more services deepening on the employees

Therefore, this client focus project is mostly aimed to improve the next session of the Refine my Waistline program. Based on observation of the first session it was concluded that an educational session should be organized before the start of the program. The idea being that if participants are properly educated there are more likely to follow the requirements of the program. Hence, this would increase the overall success of the program.
Therefore, before the start of the program it is important to increases the awareness of what this program is as well as maintaining the attendance of participant though ought the entire program. It is important to start advertising the program well in advance of the start date. This allows more time for the potential participants to ask questions and as well as time to prepare for the program. It is also important that the program information include the benefits of this program. In case of this program the benefit is to lose weight which impacts the health by decreasing the risk of acquiring a chronic disease. Then it is important to motivate the participants though the entire session. During previous session only one day included motivational activities and that may have let to the high dropout rate. During this session each of the individuals had to sign a consent. Part of the consent specified that the participants will log their food daily to the Fitbit account. Also, Fitbit watch has to be worn daily though ought the entire program. However, even though that the consent was sing the requirements were not followed. The refinery has different professionals working together with different education background. Therefore, how much of the consent was fully understand among different individuals is unknown. For this project the suggestion is that an informational presentation was organized. This presentation would explain all of the parts of the consent. It would explain the program requirements as well as the importance of following the requirements. It is also important to mention that at the end of the program the success rate has to be reported to the financial department for evaluation. If the program is not successful the founding will no longer be provided. This program is a great opportunity with many benefits. Therefore it is important to underline that if requirements will not be followed the program will be terminate. Yet, another need was that the equipment that supposed to be used was not understand by the participants.
