After leaving the Land of the Dead, the crew and I went back to Circe’s Island. She describes the obstacles that I will face on his voyage home and tells me how I should handle them. As we set sail, we approach the island of the lovely Sirens, as I have been instructed by Circe, I plug my men’s ears with beeswax. I alone hear their song flowing forth from the island, promising to reveal the future. After, we pass through Scylla and Charybdis. We had to hold a tight course so I wouldn’t lose any of my men. As my men and I stare off, the scylla comes up from behind and eats 6 of my men, one man for each head.
