Our day started off well enough; we took a bus to Magic Kingdom and I rode on the tea cup ride which was always my favorite. Surrounded by a swirling rainbow of glass that told the story of Cinderella, I ascended the spiral staircase to a dining room fit for a princess. I was overcome with joy as I sat at a table with my family and saw the characters from the movies that I loved so much waltz through the hall. My mother took a photograph of me with Cinderella, a picture I still have today. Since it was a vacation I had a steak and potato wedges, a welcomed change from my usual chicken nuggets. My perfect Disney dream was coming true, at least I thought it was.
We left the castle to go walk around the park. The sky began to darken, but my mood did not. My family and I walked around the park and perused the overpriced souvenirs. It began to drizzle, but we remained at Magic Kingdom. We would not allow a little untimely weather dampen our spirits. Though we soon decided the time to leave had
