How has science contributed to the modern Cinderella makeover?. Science plays a big part in makeup because chemist and engineers are always working on creating new products for people to use and then they improve the old ones. To make makeup related products you need intensive research and advanced technology to make sure the substances are able to be applied on the face.

The advantages in having science in makeup is that scientist, chemist and researchers make sure that people don't get any bad reactions from the substances they are making. An advantage of having science in makeup is that people don't have to worry about their faces getting irritated because the scientist has already researched how to prevent things like that from happening. the scientists have made sure that every type of skin has products to best suit their needs. This is why I believe that science is incredibly important in makeup.

Millions of animals such as rabbits, dogs, cats, mice are killed due to poisoning, burning and unnecessary test each year for cosmetics purposes. Some of the tests are standard practices for companies and brands and other animal tests are carried out because of local laws in importing countries (China) that want all beauty products to be tested on the animals. In Australia there are protocols and standards for testing animals, the Australian government will be now applying a ban on testing on animals on the 1st of July
