Cinderella and ashputtle have similarities as it also has differences in them. Some of the biggest similarities are that the slipper fell off on the stairs at the castle. That someone had to go looking for whose foot would fit into the slipper. Some of the biggest differences are that the stepsisters in ashputtle ended up getting their eyes poked out by the birds, and in cinderella the stepsisters had nothing happened to them. The stepsisters in ashputtle cut parts of the foot off to fit into the slipper while in cinderella they only tried to force their foot in.

In cinderella and in ashputtle the prince dance with them and when they had to go he would try to stop them. In both ashputtle and cinderella the stepsisters and stepmother were
