Cierra Case Study Essay

Cierra first started off by coming up with some key things that she wanted on the applications. These included things like their name, previous culinary experience and so on. Once she had come up with a rough draft of the application, she then brought it to the class as a whole for revisions. After the class agreed on the application, she then began to type up the final copy of it. Upon further research, she figured out that it was easier to find an application template and just change the information to her own. By using the template, she got all of the information aligned correctly so that the application looked neat and professional. The first option was to set up an online account and actually purchase a logo. With this option, she would actually get to design her own logo for the restaurant. Another option was to choose from a list of pre-made logos and actually purchase one of those. The only problem with this one was that the logo she chose could not be altered, it would come looking just as it was. However, Cierra did not choose neither one of these options. Cierra actually chose to save an image of the premade logos so that she would not have to purchase one. This was the easiest way out since the restaurant would only be a one-time thing. Once Cierra looked through all of the pre-made logos, she narrowed the choices down to five logos. She then brought the five logos to the class as a whole so that they could vote on the final logo. After a close vote, the final logo ended up being a gold lion logo with the name of the restaurant under it. This was the classes favorite due to it looking the most like the school’s mascot.
