Whose view will lead to a better government?
In this essay I will discuss the different views among Cicero and Confucius, identifying
which view would encourage a better government if put into practice. Cicero believed that a mixed government is best, while Confucius believed in having a single ruler who would be considered a gentleman. I find Cicero’s view more convincing and it could potentially lead to a better government if put into practice. Cicero reasoning explains why a mixed government is better, as it would be more stable and it wouldn 't break down his country. While Confucius focuses on what the ruler could do to prevent a tyrant from providing good virtues as a monarchy form of government, Cicero wanted to join the types of government

Confucius believed his virtue is to act upon what 's morally right according to him and “the way”. At age thirty he already took a stand of his own with no doubts in mind. Thinking that way is evidence that he did not learn enough because humans never stop learning at a certain age. Even while growing up, there are things advancing so rapidly that it 's impossible to have learned all you need to for your life before you hit thirty (Confucius. Analects 2.4). Learning does take time and it occurs all throughout your life, not just though a certain stage. It 's also important to learn from others, you increase your knowledge by listening to what others think and know, then you evaluate on whats best for your life. Considering others opinions is important because it gives you the ability to expand your mind to a variety of ideas instead of just focusing on what you have learned. In “The Master never talked of: miracles; violence; disorders; spirits” (Confucius. Analects 7.21) I disagree with Confucius because it 's important to inform people about these things. Being cautious of future events would prepare people to face obstacles much better. If people aren 't expose to any of this, then how would they know how to respond.
