Church Experience

I believe that the church was birthed when Christ said it was finished and right after he died the Roman soldier pierced Jesus in the side and blood and water poured out from his side. When the blood and water poured out on the soldier it represents the blood washing us from all our sins. The purpose of the church is to teach us primarily about the lifestyle that we must live in Christ and it helps us grow together so that we can take the church outside the four walls. Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Evangelism plays a big role in the church to reach the lost. Jesus tells us to compel them to come in and evangelism is a great ministry just for that because it's not only a ministry that goes from church to church to preach but, it's a ministry that can go on the streets and beyond. Now we have leadership and the Book of Acts gives us the perfect example how that a great leader must be like. Peter and Paul was the greatest two leaders that I have ever know to lead the church because they both had a boldness to lead others the way Christ would want them to be lead. Steven was stoned for the purposes of Christ and as he was persecuted the church of today will also be persecuted because they despised Jesus. Though the church might be persecuted but, greater is our reward when Jesus calls us
