Liddell took Accounting because “numbers have always come easy to me,” Chuck states. Chuck’s school makes you state your major as a freshman and he had three majors on his mind: P.E, Accounting, and Construction. The thought of changing to construction happened later in college when he used to do construction during summers.
Chuck’s first year of school was quite chaotic as he took football and wrestling. Chuck didn’t have much free time. As soon as he was finished with football, wrestling then started, and right after wrestling, football season started once more. Chuck definitely had to compose a decision on what to stick with in the end because it was a little bit too much for him. He says “I think I made the right decision with what I ended up doing.” While in college, Chuck said, that he was a “slacker” and procrastinated a little bit too often. When asked if he could go back and change something he did while in college, he said he would’ve liked to worry more about grades. Chuck scored a 3.1 in the end, but he was just pleased that he graduated. In one of Liddell’s classes, he was tutoring two wrestlers, but received a ‘C’ in that class because he didn’t completely do all of the homework in his classes. Chuck claims that it didn’t really matter that much back then. Chuck’s biggest trouble back in college was being able to balance working out, competing, and academics. Chuck spent a plethora of all-nighters
