Chuck E Cheese Narrative

Improved Essays
After the mini celebration from my team, I ran up to my dad and said, “ You have to take me to Chuck E Cheese now, my team won and I scored a goal just for you, but mainly to go to Chuck E Cheese.”

My Dad chuckled and said,” Alright, but we have to go pick up your mom because we’re not about to celebrate without her. She’s the first person who told me to sign you up so that you could play in some sport.”

I was extremely happy because not only was my coach proud about me and my other teammate scoring a goal as well as winning the game, but because I was also going to Chuck E Cheese, which at the time, if I were to be religious, that must have been my heaven.

During that very special baseball game I was beasting at shortstop. Every time a ball was hit my way I would either catch it or scoop it up off the ground depending on what type of hit it was but if the ball came my way my fans already knew what was going to happen. My fans already knew that I was going to get the batter out or get a double play and most of the time I did. It felt so great knowing that I helped my team achieve excellence and earn victories. My team had a very strong and unstoppable defense and if it wasn't for our teamwork, we wouldn't have had such a successful season.…

It was springtime during the year of 2012, I was just about to start my summer. I was looking on the internet for sports to do in Kaneland, because I wanted to compete at a higher level. I asked “Dad would you think I would be able to compete and play on the travel baseball team” He smiled “Yes, but one thing I learned when I was young and playing baseball is; it is a game of mistakes, and the only way you can succeed is if you practice over and over to improve.”…

One fall afternoon on a chilly day in 2012, I was playing for LCSC against Canton Celtic in the state cup finals. The game was at noon and I had prepared myself some oatmeal for breakfast, knowing that eating healthy would help me during the game. Most of our team arrived an hour early to warm up, but I was running late and arrived only a half hour early. Stepping on such a well cut field filled me with joy and took my mind off of the fact that I was so late. Canton Celtic has been our biggest rival for as long as I can remember; each minute leading up to kick off became more nerve racking.…
