Chuck E Cheese Monologue

Decent Essays
Joshua,

I feel your brother! I feel you! I can't stand yard work either and just talking about it raises my blood pressure too. I just hate it with a passion.

I absolutely love your post because it kills "two birds with one stone" your cleaning the yard while having a family bonding time. Your post put a big smile on my face, especially when you told your 2 year old son "You won buddy!!" I can just imagine the little kid smiling and giggling. I think you should make a reward system for him for his hard work! I think a play time at Chuck-E-Cheese will do!

In the poem, “What Work Is” it talks about how people have to go through their daily lives going to work every day, feeling they are doing the same routine every day. The second poem by Jan Beatty is named, “My Father Teaches me to Dream” and that the poem talks about a similar aspect of life called work.…

Don’t drink the kool aid "Make sure you stay away from the abandoned building," they said. I should have listened. I was in the basement when I notice red liquid splashed into a shadow and I was scared hoping the liquid isn’t what I think it is. I flicked the light switch up hoping my question would be answered but instead a loud *bang* echoed throughout the room and a shower of sparks fell in front of me and I noticed the light exploded.…

I was pleased to see the latest copy of the Serpent, and to read about three of my elderly brothers. Both Randy Butterfield and Jack Lorenz were great buddies of mine back then, and it was fitting that Randy also spoke about Jim Fisher in his flashback. We all had a great time together and have continued our friendship for over 60 years. Back when we were Littleton Street Sigma Nus, Lorenz, Fisher, and (I think) Tom Pickford joined forces and bought a car.…

What I want to talk about is the people. So far all that's been going on in the past years is pain, mostly pain to immigrants in America. Now the people are hardworking dedicated and pay their taxes of course, they shouldn't be treated like shit by our government but sometimes the people do wrong. Now don't quote my words or anything but this happens way too often just to be let go as a coincidence. We the people are the backbone of this country how dare you treat us like dirt, we the people are the ones that make things happen in this economy.…

Faith in Action Paper I spent my 15 faith service hours volunteering for Feed My Starving Children and I helped the maintenance crew around the school. While I did this I made new friends and grew as a person as well as in my faith. I probably spent about 8 or more of my service hours volunteering for Feed My Starving Children. Before when I was younger, I would go in because my older sister needed service hours and scoop some veggies and powder into a funnel for an hour and a half. Then after the session my sister would have me walk up to the counter and ask for a slip of paper with the service hours on it, so she give them to her school’s counselor and get the hours out of the way faster.…
