What makes you happy and a good use of your time?
We need to ask ourselves, if we are spending our limited time here. Not here. Online. I mean on this existence plane.
I know, I know. Dude whats with the "use your time" stuff. Hear me out.
In Japan they have Ikigai. Translates to "A reason for being" Iki meaning Alive; Life and Kai meaning effect or result. It is a 4 ring intersection of the following.
What you Love, What you are good at, What can get you paid, and What the world needs. The 4 aspects are; Passion, Profession, Mission and Vocation. (a strong feeling or suitability for occupation). Where all these intersect you get Ikigai. A deep and lengthy search of self for satisfaction and meaning to life.

This is not only for those that are graduating or changing jobs its for all us.
This is a helpful way to look at time. Adding lots of moments with meaningful fulfilling content. Not chasing that dream at the end of a long hard life. Again more Kairos and less Kronos.
Other texts talk about this concept of different measurements of time. Ancient Sanskrit warned you of Kala. (their Chronos) A demon who stole the elixir of immortality. She dances on corpses with a necklace of skulls and body parts.
The bible's original Greek translation has distinction between Kairos versus Chronos time. Meaning a purposeful time not a length measurement.
Sometimes we get comfortable with routine. You find yourself doing things because "That the way its always been" or because its a "tradition". We grow a resistance to Kairos because we fear change. We fail to be like Bruce Lee said, "like water" or like a mirror. In other words adapt to your environment. Because traditions can lead to ignorance or blind obedience.
