I like to procrastinate on tasks that have a later due date and put other tasks above it. As I’m writing this paper I categorized myself in quadrant 1, feeling the stress increasing and how will I be able to finish this paper along with my other homework. If I took the time I had been relaxing into finishing reading the book earlier and starting this paper a week prior, I most likely will not be in crisis mode or have the feeling of stress that is becoming more unbearable as each minutes passes and have my other homework already started. My production capability was lacking and I did not utilize my time wisely and I have to endure the consequences of my actions. I have no one to blame expect for myself.…

Frank Bruni goes into great deal by pulling together of series of evidence from article findings to quotes. The main idea from his response would be kids are not getting enough sleep. He factors in many causes of why this is happening. “And that says everything about the way childhood has been transformed - at least among ambitious, privileged subset of Americans - into an insanely programmed, status-obsessed and sometimes spirit- sapping race,” Bruni wrote. With good intentions, he draws forth the reality of the situation.…

Procrastinators disassociate themselves with their future self or believe that the present self is worse off doing the work. Even though we will eventually be forced to a single outcome, we still delay the inevitable for no actual reason. We have a false belief of happiness now being better than happiness later. The fact that people will go out of their way to avoid doing something so measly as the dishes astonishes me. As the dishes pile up, it gets less desirable to clean them until you’re eating cereal out of Tupperware with a serving spoon.…
