Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a condition that causes lasting, extreme tiredness (fatigue) that does not improve with rest.

CAUSES
The cause of CFS is not known. It may be triggered by a flu-like illness or by mono. Other triggers may include:

• Low blood pressure.
• Poor diet.
• Physical or emotional stress.

RISK FACTORS
