I think Christopher McCandless is considered a fool and should not be admired because he abandoned his family without telling them what and where he was going. Nobody knew where he was going or doing. So I’m writing about why I think Christopher McCandless is considered a fool. He thought he was embarking on an adventure to make himself better. Become some of McCandless’s actions were foolish, he did not inspire me. He donated and burned his money. Christopher thought his car was not necessary for his survival as a result he abandoned it. He feared his family would take him out of going on this journey, so he kept it a secret. He was afraid of creating relationships with anyone. McCandless had a love hate relationship with his father.
