Many people who hear of Christopher’s story think he’s a fool. Who in their right mind would burn all of their money, trash their car, and walk across the country to live in the wilderness? However, this is just the surface of something much deeper, and if you were to read into the facts of Christopher’s life you would see that he is the hero of his story. He had a dream and he risked everything, up to and including his life, to achieve it. Life can be incredibly overwhelming at times and to be able to find the peace that Christopher found, even if that peace only lasts four months, would be nothing short of incredible.
