Christopher Reeve said that, “A hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.” His life was a testament to these words. After his accident, he could have give up and withdrawn from public life. Instead, he chose to remain active and try to educate and influence people on the issues that he was most passionate about.
