Second, the purpose. The purpose of this book is to resemble that many teenagers are coming to a stage of independent. We all have to go through a struggle that helps us to be a better person. Everyone see the world differently even Christopher. Every teen has a desire to be independent, without their parents help. Parents are there to help us through it all but also to guide us in the right path. In the book, there are less obvious arguments, some I agree with and some I don’t agree with. At first, I thought Christopher mother had died.
