The time is set over 500 hundred years ago. This one man changed history, who did not give up and kept trying and trying. His name was Christopher Columbus, he was the first Spanier o discover what is now South America. He helped discover big things like the world is not flat. The Columbus Voyage all started on August 3, 1492 when Christopher Columbus and 90 men set out sailing west. The impact did not happen until Christopher and his men came back to King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, with resources and land. The first big impact was that people saw that if Christopher made it back safely that the world must not be flat. Or that their are no such thing as sea monsters. Those things were all rumors.
