There are many explorers out there you may know that have negative and positive effects on the world. I personally think the most negative impact that impacted the world was Christopher Columbus, it all started with the thought of him and his brother that the indies had plenty of gold, silver, and spices. Columbus was born in Genoa, Italy in 1451. He worked early as a map maker, he was the 15th century Italian explorer who completed four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean, while causing so much terror, but he starting the Spanish colonization of several places in the World. Finally, they continued moving, arriving at the island of Hispaniola ,which is modern-day Haiti and the Dominican Republic.Columbus was dealt a blow when the Santa Maria was shipwrecked,Columbus established a colony on Hispaniola, where he left men behind while he returned to Spain.Columbus already had made a major impact on history because he created the first 'European' outpost in the New World after the Viking explorers.This voyage was the start of the fire that began to build up in Columbus first that he has settled in the wrong area and he left behind some of his men and kept going on, i personally think this is very selfish because those men where helping him and he just left them like they where
