In 1532, De Soto captured Atahualpa(emperor of the Inca). He made Atahualpa's people pay ransom by filling a room once with gold and twice with silver. Then he killed Atahualpa, violating his agreement to let him go free. That is so cruel, and evil. De Soto captured Tascalusa in Atahachi, and was taking him to Mabila. Once he made it to Mabila, the natives ambushed him. De Soto and his men set the main part of the town on fire, and defeated them. He also tortured them before he killed them. De Soto was a villain, he didn’t have to torture the natives. De Soto lost all his gold, weapons, and equipment in Mabila.
The Europeans were malicious people. The Europeans were villains. They all came into the native’s land and tortured, raped, and killed them. If anything, the Native Americans were heroes. The Europeans were evil, greedy, and horrible people. They killed a lot of natives and didn’t really get any gold, spices, jewelry or anything. All they got was land. How would you feel if ISIS took over America, tortured, and killed
