Human Nature is where we have various backgrounds, perspectives, moral values, and personalities. I simply believe that our human nature is created by a purpose because we are here on the earth for a reason to live and breath. I was taught to be respectful to others and help others when they are in need. However, I was quite mean toward to others as a child and it was because I did not fully understand the meaning of “help”. For instance, I often would refuse to help with my siblings when they needed to. At times I just do it with an obligation [for the sake of it] for them to make them feel appreciated even though I did not want to help them in the first place. There were other times where I would intentionally ignored the homeless when I had the money in my pocket, I did not feel any remorse at the moment. I did not know any better. The older I get, I became social aware of the needing of help and understood why we should help others that are different from us. The recent situation when a homeless person yelled at me for not giving money was a wake up call for me. Ever since, I changed my attitude and approach in helping others and I learned that it is beneficial to us in many different ways such as bring happiness in others and ourselves, increase sense of belong, and it also fulfilling to our positivity on
