Christopher Columbus: An Adventurous Man

Christopher Columbus was an adventurous man, he has traveled a lot to prove to people that the earth is not flat. His first journey into the Atlantic Ocean in 1476 almost cost him his life. Columbus was determined to find a quick way from Europe to Asia. but sadly he never did. But instead unwittingly came to America. Columbus argued that the earth was much smaller than what he had believed it was; he thought it would be easier to find a direct water passed to travel quicker from different countries. All Christopher Columbus wanted was fame and fortune and he would stop at nothing to get it. Christopher Columbus met a lot of different people and wanted to show them everything he knew, such as religious, building homes, weapons and so much more. He knew he would get their attention and he knew he can fool them into doing everything he wants them to do. They would try to search everything and anything to find wealth and to know Christopher that is all he cared about was wealth. But I would say they did learn a lot while traveling they found a way to haunt or how to plant some items that found many diseases and have brought a lot of diseases. He wrote what he have found “ The crew if the Pinta saw a cane and a log; they also picked up a stick which appeared to have been carved with an iron tool, a piece of cane, a plant which grows on land, and a board” (page D-9). They found so many exciting things that can show to others to help the Europeans learn how to plant things and probably learn new medicine tricks to.
