The book is in his perspective. But, how the story is told changes. At one point he would at the part where he would tell the story of Wellington and how he got killed. Then in the next chapter he would talk about him at school and about his teacher Siobhan. The way he figures out things and thinks is different from a normal person. He pictures things in his head as he figured them out. Whenever he thinks a place to go he always has to map out the place before he can go there. He hates the color yellow. Three red cars in a row made it a good day. Four red cars made it a quite good day. Five red cars in a row made it a super good day. But, five yellow cars in a row made it a black day. When he did more research on who killed Wellington he found out that his father killed Wellington. His father (Ed Boone) killed Wellington because he was angry with the dog’s owner (Mrs. Shears). When Christopher found that he killed Wellington he got scared and ran away. He ran away to London to go live with his mother. This book has many facts about math. Since Christopher’s favorite subject is math there is a lot of it in the book. For example, each chapter is numbered differently than a normal book. He does not number the chapters with 1 2 3 and so on. He numbers them with prime numbers. Such as 2 3 5 7 11 and so on. Usually everything need to have an order or a pattern. That is why he likes math so much. There are orders of numbers and certain way to solve each math problem. He also likes puzzles and things that someone has to figure out. His goal is to get an “A” level in maths.
