<> is a movie written based on the unique historical event of “ Christmas Truce” that took place during World War 1, as Germans and French agreed to cease fire and celebrate the Christmas of 1914 together. The movie objectively recounted the cause of WW1, Christmas Truce and the point of view of affected ordinary figures in general. The filmmaker communicated the point “No war is meant to happen.” through the movie and it is still applicable in the present day. Desire and greed caused all wars, including WW1, as all European countries were eager for land, and power which ultimately became fortune in the beginning of 19th century. However, all wars could be avoided. The 38 millions of military and civilian casualties of WW1 could have been prevented, if the eager of the leaders was not acknowledged and supported by militarism, imperialism, allies and nationalism. In the movie, the British priest twisted the word from the Bible during a sermon to manipulate the soldiers into fighting willingly, since war was ordered by god according to the priest.
