Those two things could be helpful to have when is winter, but he can 't give this person any of this just his poem as a way of protection.…

The music changes from low to high notes to create a peak, as the notes also crescendo to indicate that one is proclaiming to the world their connection to their youth and carefree life. By adding emphasis to every word in the main chorus, the words become indisputable and turn into commandments that one is proclaiming. The fluctuation in the singing of “tambourine” mimics the actual sound of a tambourine, adding an aura of music flowing through the room. The grandiose melody is topped off by the powerful vocals to re-energize the listener and allow them to feel just as ecstatic as they were at the beginning of the song. The heart-tugging high notes as the lyrics reach their emotional peak depict the listener letting free all stress and worries and allowing themselves to be consumed by their inner youth. A naïve sense is created when the lyrics tell that the dancing queen is “young and sweet, only seventeen” which adds to the innocence of the songs theme. The line “you can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life” is again repeated from the first verse as a reminder or almost even to fully integrate the idea into the listeners mind that they too can still enjoy life whether young or old. Overall in this verse, the music is what really offsets the song into a jovial tone rather than the lyrics. Without the positive melody, the lyrics would be lost or would be rather…

To create this pleasing mood, Copland uses consonant intervals and a simple and clear melody. The melody, “Simple Gifts,” is from a hymn sung by a Christian group called the Shakers who embraced simple living and folk culture. Copland uses portions of the tune and adds a little variety to it and sometimes there is imitation that can be heard in the melodic phrases. He uses flutes, clarinets, bassoons, strings, and a piano for this piece. The opening closing music of the ballet is quiet which makes it have a sense of resolution, bringing the piece full…

It illuminates the front window, sending a warm glow throughout the house. Christmas is a favored holiday by children, maybe because of the presents, or because of the magical aura that seems the envelop the whole season. Christmas is celebrated in honor of the birth of Jesus christ, son of god. A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us was resurrected. The 'Christ-Mass' service was the only one that was allowed to take place after sunset (and before sunrise the next day), so people had it at Midnight! Therefore the name Christ-Mass, shortened to Christmas. When Jesus was born three wise men followed the star that led them to the king of Jews. Each of these wise men brought gifts to the lord. One brought frankincense which is a perfume used in Jewish worship and, as a gift, it showed that people would worship Jesus. Another wise men brought gold which represented kings and Christians believed that Jesus was the king of kings. The third wise man brought Myrrh which was a perfume put on dead bodies to make them smell nice, this gift foretells, that Jesus would suffer and die. The wiseman are still celebrated in countries like Spain but in many other countries children await for Saint Nicholas to fill their stockings. Families share a lot of the same traditions when it comes to Christmas as well. Every year families all over the world drive their cars to the nearest tree-lot or farm, and cut down a pine to bring home. Families decorate their trees with wonderful lights that first originated when a man saw the stars shining through a pine. From then on generations have replaced it with candles perched in the tree to nowadays…

The reason I love this song from the album was because this is the last song holly wrote and produced with the Crickets before he unexpectedly died. Correspondingly, it was charted seven from Top 40 singles. "That'll Be the Day" means 'He promised to be on time tomorrow. ' On the album cover was a picture of the group taken on the rooftop of the Brooklyn Paramount just after their unveiling on National US television. Next favorite song in the album is "True Love Ways". Buddy Holly wrote "True Love Ways" for his wife, Maria Elena Holly as a wedding gift. Hence I contemplate that’s the most thoughtful and interesting story behind "True Love Ways". A interesting lyric in hollys song is, “Well you give me all your loving And all your turtle doving all your hugs and kisses And your money too..” I felt the part he said, “And your money too” was pretty humors. He didn’t want to be full on serious, so he added a little bit more of humor, so whoever listens to this song can have a laugh. Songs such as "Listen to Me," "Oh Boy!," "Maybe Baby," "Heartbeat," and "It's So Easy," Holly…

The writer enhances the mood and emotions of this song through poetic devices integrated in the song. The poetic devices in the song are repetition, consonance, assonance, alliteration, imagery, rhyme, personification, simile, paradox, metaphor, and hyperbole. Repetition is used in this song when the author includes the phrase “the sounds of silence” at the ends of almost all of the stanzas. Another, poetic device that is used in “The Sound of Silence” is consonance, which takes place when the lyrics “But my words like silent raindrops fell” come up. This line consist of two examples of this poetic device, one where the “d” is repeated in words and raindrops. Second, when the “l” is repeated in silent and fell. To continue, an example of assonance is when the song lyrics are “Fools!” said I, “You do not know” where the “oo” sound comes from the both, Fools and You. Furthermore, alliteration is included in the lyrics “And no one dares disturb the sounds of silence.” There are two examples of alliteration in this sentence, one is the repeated sound of “d” and the other one is when the “s” is…

The movie features several hit songs written by Robert and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Ever since the movie premiered, people everywhere have been singing these songs. The first song is “Frozen Heart.” It’s simple and foreshadows dangers of ice. A lot of people tend to forget about this song, but I really enjoy it. The backgrounds and animation are beautiful to watch. Next is “Do You Want to Build A Snowman.” It’s kind of a solo, since Anna is the only one who sings, but Elsa and the king both speak during the song, so can it be considered a true solo? This song shows the girls growing up, with Elsa struggling to control her powers. It starts off upbeat, but turns slow and sad by the end, with both girls mourning the loss of their parents. “For…
