In Honduras for Christmas people invite their friends and neighbors to join a fiesta. They eat traditional foods like pork, and tamales. People attend Church on Christmas Eve, and Christmas. Then they go to their friend’s and neighbor’s houses to party. At midnight they all hug and say their good byes. Then firecrackers and cherry bombs start exploding! And they go on all night! Usually the gifts are new clothes. Another tradition is putting decorations on Christmas trees. Putting up nativity scenes are signs of Christ’s birth.
