Christmas Carol Scrooge Research Paper

In the Christmas Carol Scrooge is very unhappy with the oncoming season Christmas. Everyone is cheerful and Scrooge is trying to get as much work done before the counting house closes. That night the ghost of Jacob Marley comes to tell Scrooge that he will be visited by three spirits so he can change his ways. During these trips Scrooge realizes that Christmas is actually a very merry day.

In both Scrooge’s and Fezziwig's workplaces there were fires going. The people there worried hard and were eager for Christmas to come. You could hear the sounds of quills scratching in both places too. The employees were anticipating for Christmas to arrive also. You could hear carols being sung by people. The fires are different too. Fezziwig's fires are big while Scrooge’s are small. The sounds are very different too. The sounds in Fezziwig's warehouse are loud and cheerful while in Scrooge's place they is no sound at all. These differences are quite big.

In conclusion, Fezziwig and Scrooge are very different. Their attitudes are different and they both are anticipating Christmas but for very different reasons. These people are very different and one is merry while the other is scary. These differences affected the way both of them did their work. The Christmas Carol is a great example of what should be happening during Christmas. Merriment and the time of
