It was the first day of Christmas break and Reina and her two best friends were planning to meet up at a pizza parlor that just opened near their middle school. She had toiled all day yesterday to finish all her homework so her mom would let her come. Currently, she was in the front seat of her car gazing boredly out of window. The icy roads were filled with traffic because of a car accident ahead. "This is why the driving age should be lifted!", her mom exclaimed loudly to herself, while honking her horn at the car before her. "All of those teens carelessly driving around smashing into things!", this led to another thirty minutes of ranting about public safety and whatnot. When they finally arrived to the parlor, they were late.
