In the 6th grade I was friends with a girl I had meet in the 5th grade from when we were in

dance classes together. We were really good friends, but something went wrong. When we first

meet we got along. We went to school together and we had dance classes together. I saw her

more then I saw my own family during the school year. We would help each other with our

homework and talk after school. But once Christmas break came, something went wrong in our

friendship.

Before Christmas break we would do a lot of things during school together like eating

lunch together. One day she said that she had huge house and she owned a large amount of land

know what was wrong. I thought maybe they I had finally believed me and they wanted to hear

my side of the story again. I was wrong.

So when I was called in they told me to wait and then the principal came out and said to

go into his office. When I sat down the chair felt rough, like I was sitting on sandpaper. When I

looked up she was there and they told me that she had said that I have been lying and that I was

the one that was telling rumors and gossiping about her. I was crushed, why the teachers would

think I was the one lying. It had felt like someone had just stomped all over me. They then had

asked for her to go back to class. I was so upset I just wanted to scream at the world. They had

asked me if I had been seeing the canceler. I said I wasn’t because my parents didn’t think I

needed it. The principal said I should of continued going to canceling, that I needed the help. So

he then assigned me three days of in school suspension for something I never did.

One day we were talking at lunch and a girl came up to us and started talking to us about herself and how discourteous her friends were to her, of course we told her that she could hang out with us. All three of us had the same class and became best friends quickly, after that I made some friends and I had the best school year of my life. The 6th grader that sat next to me was Destiny who, after 6th grade, went to Somerset but to this day we are still best friends. The girl who came up to us was Yesenia, who, after 6th grade, stayed being my best friend, all throughout middle school and was the only true friend I had all those years, she is still the best friend that I will ever have. I started that school year terrified, sad, and angry with my mom for making me move away from my friends, I’m fortuitous that I move or I wouldn't have met my two best friends that I consider family.…

As an LPN I make ethical and moral decisions every day. It is my job to give medications to the patients at the nursing home that I work at. It is important for me to keep track of which medications go to what patients and I also must make sure I give them the right amounts of the meds at the right times. Even though I am comfortable with doing my job and try my best to keep track of everything, sometimes the patients try to confuse me. About a month ago I had to medicate a patient with multiple wounds.…

Vanessa had than me a list that I had made her with a couple assignments crossed out, then she said: “Are you guys ready to go to my house so we can finish the rest of the assignments there?”. Elyah then jumped into the conversation and then says “Yes, let’s just go”. I did not want to leave, but I ended up getting up after they had walked out the room, so I ran down the hallways to catch up to them. We then walked out the doors like every day previously, and what exactly happened next I do not know for sure, but I have been told some of what came next. I do know that I was locked out like they always did, so as always I hopped on the front, not because I am crazy nor dangerous, but because when I did that before they always opened the door, but they did not this time.…

The grade that I received for my Macroeconomics class, ECON 1402, taught by Professor Ardavan Mobasheri in Spring 2016, is not reflective of the effort I put into the class and is the result of various issues regarding how the class strayed from the syllabus. I wish to request a grade change for the overall class. After passing my Microeconomics class in the Fall, I had hoped that I would do well in my Macroeconomics class the following semester. I received an F for the class which means that if I cannot receive a better grade, I will have to take it again in the fall semester of 2016 as it is required for my double-major in International Relations and Modern Languages. In terms of grading, we were graded based on four items: the midterm exam, the final exam, homework assignments, and class participation/attendance.…

For the first five years of elementary school, I attended the small school located at the back of our church’s property. Enrollment ranged from about 10-15 students in 1st through 8th grade. The last three years of my grade school experience were spent attending Lodi Seventh-day Adventist Elementary. This school went from kindergarten to 8th grade and fed into Lodi Academy, so in all, kindergarten through 12th grade! I came from a small, two-room school, and seeing as I was not very accustomed to being with such a large body of students, suddenly becoming immersed in a class with more students than that of my entire old school was definitely intriguing!…

A writing experience that has stood out the most for me was when I was a sophomore in High School. There was a girl in my class who I wasn't so fond of who one day decided to announce to everyone that she had begun to write her own stories. She showed everyone pieces of her writings expecting to get nothing but compliments and be to deemed the class writer, but when she finally showed me her work I cringed at how deplorable it was. The stories had no clear perspective of whether it was written in first person or third person view, some of the simplest of words were spelled wrong, and many words were used in the wrong context. The class didn't seem to care for her stories so they just gave standard responses with no words for…
