Christina Nguyen: A Character Analysis

A significant leader in my life would be a woman named Christina Nguyen, my mother. I am very close to my mom even if I do not see her often. I grew up in the lower class and as a result of this, she was often away working while my dad took care of me. As time progressed, I eventually understood she was constantly working hard to support the family—especially because my dad could not keep a stable job. She tried her best to help me with homework assignments when she came home from work, even if she was barely educated. Her expectations for me was clear since I was a child. She stated that good manners are esteemed before the educated because I would advance nowhere in life, even if I was an intelligent person. She instilled good values into me before motivating me to be successful and educated in school. She had a knack for lecturing me, and the most memorable thing she said was, “There is always room for improvement. Keep moving forward.” Because of my mother, I strive to better myself as a person every day. …show more content…
XXX, of mine back in high school. Mrs.XXX would complain about her job and yell at the students when she was in a bad mood. She hardly taught the students because she was caught up in being furious at every little thing. She did not know how to organize her workload and lost many students’ assignments throughout the semester. In the end, she was fired for having intercourse with a student. Despite Mrs. XXX being a pessimist and a bad leader, she did have a good impact on me. I try to look at the bright side of things and am passionate about life because I do not want to end up like her in the future.
