Christianity and Islam are expected to be complete opposites, although despite common beliefs this isn’t true according to www.dscoreringislam.org. They have more in common then you may even realize like their beliefs in is Jesus. As a matter of fact, what the church is to Christianity the umma is to Islam. In both religions they view God in a similar light. They both believe in only having one supreme God. Which leads to their being one creator and sustainer if the universe. They also agree that God is gracious and merciful. According to Christianity and Islam “God is unlimited, infinite, omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient.” Lastly they share the belief that God is an eternal being since his existence is necessary.

According to both of their Holy Books “Jesus was conceived by a miracle if God himself.” Islam and Christianity consider Jesus as a prophet. Both religions acknowledge the second coming if Jesus. As you are seeing these two religions share a lot of beliefs.
Finally, in both religions they share very similar beliefs on Heaven and Hell. Heaven and Hell in both religions is regarded as “permanent adobes of the righteous and evil doers.” Did you know that both religion they share the same day their fate of Heaven or Hell is decided? Basically they both believe in Judgement day. For the last and best similarity, they both believe in the best name in the world, ANGEL!
In conclusion Islam and Christianity are both similar religions even though they are practiced in all different parts of the world, even though they are depicted to complete opposites.
