I do not think that Christianity has to deal with all of the problems in the world. Some may say that Christianity is bad because throughout some parts of history Christianity was forced on to other cultures. Some people, including this article, might also say that Christianity lead to discrimination and separation between races. However, the Bible states that all human beings are equally created in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27) God does not see color as a separation or difference between his children. As humans there is sin that corrupts our thoughts and actions making us imperfect. Racism and sexism happened and there is nothing that can change that, however, society has come a long way at adapting to new, more equal views towards one another. Christians believe that you should love and treat others the way you want to be treated just as God loves all people.

Love is an affection that God will always have towards his children, all people, since he created humanity. It would only make sense that God is viewed in a higher authoritative position over people. Also, parents should be put above children when looking at authority. God gave people the gift of parents so that children would have people to watch over them and keep them safe. Lastly, when looking at different races, ethnicities, and genders the Bible never says that any one is better than the other. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28). This passage basically states that God does not see a difference between races, ethnicity, nor gender because all people are his children and he loves them equally. This is how we as humans should view each other as well; as

Would you ever just pack up all of your belongings and leave your family, friends, job etc like Christopher McCandless did? I do not think so. Chris was born February 12, 1968 in El Segundo, Ca. He was brought into a “special family” I’d say, Chris’s father had two wives and two different families that only lived 20 minutes away from each other. His father was an abusive man toward his wife, and Chris’s mother and his father would make him and his sister Carine McCandless watch while he would beat his wife.…

God does not belong to one or the other group of people because He is God. We are supposed to think of God without limitations of race or gender. Also there is a danger in using love in black theology because love includes interests of everyone. Cone talks about how “righteousness” will only include the interests of one specific group, African Americans. God is love and He gives it all to us, no matter what skin color one…

The author’s purpose for writing The Problem of Pain is to show that just because there is evil and suffering the world does not mean that God ceases to be God; that Divine Good does not exist, or that He ceases to be an all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful God. The author’s purpose for writing chapter three, on Divine Goodness, is to explain that love and kindness are not synonymous, and just because they are not does not mean that God does not love humans. To love someone well does not mean only wanting their happiness, but sometimes means going through suffering with them and loving them through hard truths. To love someone and to be kind to someone are not necessarily one and the same, and it’s important to understand why in order to better comprehend God’s love for us and why He would allow for us to suffer. Love almost always…

Love, Power, and God are interchangeable terms throughout the history of civilization including those ancient and modern. These items are what start wars and shape nations as well as the history of nations. One piece of history which has brought such controversy even into modern times is the story of Rodrigo Borgia more famously known as Pope Alexander VI. Pope Alexander IV has been written into history as one of the most scandalous popes of the Renaissance era. His legacy is tarnished with alleged murders, incestuous relationships, and nepotism.…

Many people in the world today have decided that a world view does not matter; that everyone can simply believe what they would like to believe, and it would not make a difference. However, this is not true; a man’s worldview determines his every act! Chris McCandless in no doubt is a person who is shrouded in mystery. The reasons for his disappearance from his home and his travels across the United States are frequently brought into question. As a result of such mystery, Chris’s behavioral characteristics and motives have been put to the test by many people. Jon Krakauer believes that the answer is that Chris was a new age thinker, that he did not blindly stumble to his death, and that Chris should be recognized as a humble hero trying to forge a new future for himself and society. To Krakauer, Chris is more than just a humble hero however, but a representation of himself, which makes it even more important for Krakauer to defend the reputation of Chris McCandless.…

The idea of love has been very warped overtime. The many associations of the word have left many Americans searching for a nonbiased definition. Christian’s are constantly being tempted beyond belief in today’s society. This temptation can stem from the smallest things to the largest things, but whatever the temptation is, we as Christians must constantly be alert and ready to brace ourselves against this temptation at all times. Sadly, most Christians aren 't fully aware of who or even what is tempting them. They are oblivious to the fact that creatures outside the realm of what we can see may be pushing us toward that very temptation that we are trying to avoid. This is called spiritual warfare.…

Within this paper, the belief systems of both Islam and Christianity, will be compared and contrasted, as to reveal the more reasonable worldview.
