This glorification process occurs by acting and exemplifying your faith in God, and is the equivalent of possessing the qualifications for holiness because glorification shows the benefits of God to humanity. The parallels between glorification and holiness reveal the reality that heaven isn’t solely a reward, but rather a process attributed to God's greater plan. God's plan not only allows humanity into heaven, but also forms a genuine relationship, as a result of glorification, with a God that is good and merciful. The Lord offers eternal life to those who are glorified by following Him; even to the weakest in faith. People who still are oriented towards God but exemplify little dedication to their faith—such as people who still believe in the Lord, but find church a burden—can be glorified in purgatory, where humans who had some shred of faith are offered a second chance to embrace the Lord in another afterlife. Revelation offers a depiction of Hell being an eternal torture from “fire and brimstone,” and a “lake of fire” (Revelation 14:10). As explained before, however, the Lord has offered humanity every choice to avoid this torture through being faithful and accepting Him. God’s merciful and good nature is present to the section of humanity that believes in Him and have some portion of faith—weather weak or strong—to the point He even offers second chances in the afterlife. Though Hell is torturous, this is a justifiable punishment because He, through faith, purgatory, and boundless forgiveness, and has effectively offered every chance to avoid Hell. If humanity has been offered a chance of salvation multiple times, then it is obvious that those who deny it don't want a relationship with the Lord. Even those who are unfaithful would still find Heaven torturous because God, the same being that they denied, is existent everywhere.
