Christian Worldview
The Christian worldview is a complex, yet simple one. If a believer were asked the question of, “What is Christianity?” it could merely be put that it is the acceptance that God is Jesus Christ in human form. He came down to the earth, showed us the correct way of life, and experienced an immeasurable amount of pain and death to save humankind from their sins, and that if one faithfully believes this and lives according to His instructions, then you are saved, forgiven of any sin, and will receive Heaven for all eternity upon death or His second coming. This paper seeks to elaborate upon the Christian Worldview and what type of morals and beliefs it comprises of that make it distinct among the rest.
There are many questions that non-believers have for anyone who lives by the Christian Worldview. One such question is “What is Ultimate? What caused the world and humanity to exist?”. Simply speaking, God is the ultimate controller in Christianity. Revelations 22:13 states, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end". …show more content…
The Holy Bible states in Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them”. Believers of Christianity feel that God created man after Himself. God placed man on earth after the beginning of creation to live and to flourish. The Lord keeps watch over his most treasured creations, which is us. He created us above any animal, and God even granted us so much authority to be responsible over all the earth. Evidence of His complete trust in us as humans is found in Psalm 8:5. It explains God as having created us “a little lower than the angels and crowned [us] with glory and
