Christian Worldview Essay Questions

The essence of Christian worldview, boils down to three very complex questions. Question number one would be where does man come from? Question number two being, who am I exactly, and lastly why are we here? The Christian worldview, is extremely broad especially now in modern times. New religions are formed daily, though many stick to Christian, of Godly views in-regards to Jesus Christ. There are so many religious groups that call themselves Christians, all with differing beliefs, ethical values, and differing practices. The largest group of Christians are known as the Catholics. The Catholic religion ran by the Roman Catholic Church has over one billion members. This particular religion have claims that both doctrine in which they teach from is founded by Jesus Christ. Protestants, would be the second largest group of Christians, though in direct comparison to the Roman Catholic Church are considered to be teaching false doctrine. The Catholic Church doe not believe they are truly teaching what Christ or the Pope would necessarily agree with. Protestants believe that the bible alone is sufficient. They also do not believe in the nature of using a Pope as do the Catholics. The Roman Catholic Church deems the Pope over office and is gives him great authority. However, Protestants believe that no human being is infallible and that Christ alone is the Head of the Church. Catholics tend to focus on the succession from apostolic notions in even in terms of how they actually find a pope, while Protestants believe that the church’s authority stems from the Word of God alone, the bible. Now, these two examples demonstrates differing views between the two most prominent religion bases of Christianity, there are several other groups that declare and self proclaim to be Christians. So is it that one has to simply believe in Jesus Christ, the Messiah to become Christian? Some may say yes, while others may argue
