It can be hard at times in cases that have become personal to the officers involved to not take a situation into their own hands. For example, Sheriff Greg White was faced with a gruesome case; a nine-year-old girl was murdered by her neighbor. Upon the arrest of the neighbor and lack of care for life displayed by the murderer, some officers could have found themselves out of control as well as wanting to take the situation into their own hands. It is upon the hope, faith, and prayer of their relationship with Christ, that they have been able to handle situations to the best of their ability. It is crucial, especially in law enforcement, to always do what is right. Rules are in place for a reason. Furthermore, there is specific direction give from the Lord in the Bible about remembering that He is the creator of law as well as the holder of reprisal. By fulfilling one’s mind with the Biblical Christian Worldview in law enforcement, individuals will be better prepared to handle situations as well as have hope that the Lord will see them through any given situation. “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But, take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, New International
