Christian Vs Samuel

Decent Essays
Though Christian and Samuel are twins, we are very different. And this is proof from Splish and Splash themselves.
First we’ll look at the covers of the books. Samuel is a fair amount taller. He also has longer hair. His’s main clothing is a t-shirt and jeans with hiking boots and a Monterey Bay Aquarium cap. Christian, on the other hand, wears tennis shoes, jeans, a button down shirt, and a green Gap jacket.
They are also different in personality. Samuel is more of an edgy and outdoorsy kind of guy, but Christian is a big petrolhead and has more of a straightforward personality. Though different, they are both share a little of the same traits like enjoying camping, knowing cars, and being introverts.
Now, onto the hard stuff. If Samuel and Christian were to duke it out, who would win? Christian has the smarts and creativity on his side, but Samuel has the strength, speed, and stamina advantage so it would all come down to who could wear the other down and in a fist fight, Samuel would come out on top.

When it comes down to it, Samuel’s random facts are out weighed by Christian’s pure intellect and better math skills. In a math trivia Christian would, no doubt, defeat Samuel. But if it was one on random fact, Samuel may just beat him.
When it comes to which is better, it’s left to you to decide. But one thing’s for sure. You will probably get their names mixed

William Bradford and Thomas Morton were two authors who had completely different views during Puritanism. Bradford was a Puritan and one of the founders of the first Puritan colonies in America, which was Plymouth. Morton was a non-Puritan who empowered the Natives and liked to have fun. Both men had their own opinions on different matters and this allowed us to see the view of a Puritan and a non-Puritan. Readers were able to understand how life worked back then and why some people didn’t have the same beliefs.…

For my creative response, I decided to write a series of letters between the characters of Tobias and Arthur Wolff. This seemed appropriate given that the text provides a range of viewpoints in the form of letters, notably ones of serious and important matters. I thought it would be interesting to view the memoir from a new perspective of Arthur Wolff as well as the reoccurring perspective of the adolescence, Tobias Wolff. Throughout the memoir Arthur Sr. was an elusive father-figure and would only be mentioned under false pretences, which ironically are the two most prominent themes throughout Jack’s own accounting of his past. In the era of 1950’s America it was not acceptable under the ideal societal definition of ‘masculinity’ to express…

Landon Catlett and Steven Eubanks met face to face in the early morning at a hospital just outside of Portland, Oregon, on February 21, 1996, as Landon was birthed into this world, beginning a new chapter in both of their lives. Little did they know that this was a start to a relationship that would appear unbreakable due to how similar they seemed. However, they also were very different in many aspects which is why I will guide you through a comparison and contrast of Landon Catlett and Steven Eubanks, showing their similarities and differences in schooling, their childhood, and their personalities. During Landon’s first experience with school, he was attending a pre-school in Portland before his family moved closer to his father, whom lived in Arkansas at the time. Hegel’s idea that the modern world of civil society is created through selfish ends and a system of complete interdependence is an idea that is shared with many other writers. Specifically, the 18th century writers of Steuart and Smith share Hagel’s point of view. Both Steuart and Smith believe self-interest is essential in explaining the creation of the modern world. They agree that when individuals peruse their selfish interests and in turn, become dependent in one another, and consequently create the modern economy. However, they differ in the nature of how these two principles interplay in economic activity (production and exchange).…

Steinbeck shows this in this scene through the contrasting light and dark. The passage has a very mystical feel to it.…
