The Bible is the first place a person should look to find what God wants their philosophy to look like. An arrangement of sixty-six separate books are put together to form what is known as the Holy Bible. The Bible, the number one best-seller of all time, is an extremely unique book that has been read by millions of people all over the world. This book is believed by the Christian church and is the Word of God (Sproul 15). The Bible is sometimes referred to as the “canon” which means that all of the sixty-six books were put together to form one big book (Sproul 21). The Old Testament is consisted of thirty – nine books that discuss historical events. They begin with creation in Genesis and end with the Israelites around 400 B.C. There are several books of the Old Testament that only discuss the relationship the Israelites had with God.
