I have grown a lot spiritually and mentally since my freshman year up till now. These recent years, I have been talking to God a lot more than I was at first, I have honored my values more, and I have also been wanting to attend Church more. I decided to put God first in most things that I do and everything is starting to smoothly fall into place. Through my christian service I have actively been living out my faith. I have been a volunteer for the saint louis metro tax collation, I have gained a lot of different skills while working with this program, such as assisting older people filling out papers. Because when you are baptized, a lot of people were baptized when they were little and not able to understand exactly what they were doing, and more than likely it wasn't their choice. Confirmation is your choice, it is your time to say if you want to continue being a catholic. Marriage is also a sacrament, this is when two people decide to spend the rest of their life with each other and this is when they dedicate their lives to each other and God. holy orders is when you commit your life to a religious order, which can be a sister, brother, nun, priest, monk, decon, ect. All of these are dedicating your life to God, to serve God and to love and serve the Church. Holy Orders is a vocation, its a life you choose to live. You officially become a member of the Christian clergy. I have learned that there are also holy orders in different religions, not just catholic churches. In this system, you must become a seminarian, than a deacon, then finally a priest. After you become a priest you can the pursue to become a bishop, cardinal, or pope. With females, you can become a nun or a sister, even though those are normally the only two options for females, they still have to take classes like upcoming priests or brother do. Anointing of the sick is the sacrament of anointing the ill with blessed oil. The wholistic wheel concept consists of four different parts; financial, physical, social, and educational. My first value was family, because where would I be without my family? They are my true backbone. My second value was my church, even though I don't go to church everyday my church family is also my backbone, if i need someone to talk to or if i need reassurance that God is my everything, they are always there. My third value is trust, that explains itself because if you don't have trust with someone you have nothing. My fourth value is God , God is everything he never fails and he never gives up on you. The fifth value is love I feel as if everyone deserves love , i feel as if you don't have to like someone but you should love everyone. My sixth value is respect, that ties into the love category because the same rules that i have for love applies to respect. My seventh value is honesty because I feel as if i'm honest with you i should get the same in return. My eighth value is loyalty because i first and foremost believe that you should be loyal to god because he if loyal to you. My ninth value is thrive, i chose thrive because my goal in life is to thrive because my worst fear is to fail. Lastly my final value is remembrance, i chose this because i feel like if i forget i will make the same mistake i made in the first place. This is my current list of values and I will continue to live these out through my everyday
