The Poverty
There are so many moral issues in the world, such as poverty, abortion, drugs, sex, LGBT and many other issues. Poverty is one of the most important issues of concern. In general, poverty could be described as two different kinds. One is spiritual and the other one is physical. Everyone wants to get out from both spiritual and physical poverty. People should understand what the poverty really is before they do any action for that. Because if they know the solution of both spiritual, physical poverty and Christian response to poverty, then it is easier for them to get out from poverty successfully.
Primarily, in Christianity, the Bible teaches people who are poor physically, but rich in spirit, they should work diligently (Platt 34). Because God created people to work diligently, just like He wants Adam and Eve to work hard in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15 ESV). People often regard work as something they have to do in order to earn money to live, but this is not what the Bible teaches people (Platt 34). The Bible said that work is a very foundational part of God’s plan for people to develop the culture and serve the earth (Platt 34).
