Christian Religion Research Paper

Many people practice some sort of religion. The religion may vary from Buddhism, to Judaism, or even Christianity. Whatever the religion may be, people have a reason for choosing the religion they do. For me, Christianity is the religion I choose. The reasons I choose to follow in the Christian ways are numerous; I chose the Christian faith because it helps me in hard times, gives me hope for life after death, and supplies me with a set of morals that I believe to be valuable. One reason I chose to follow in the Christian faith is for the morals. In the Christian faith, God gives Christians the Ten Commandments. These commandments are a set of guidelines, given by God, Christians are supposed to live by. Having this set of beliefs is something that helped me choose my religion. Moreover, the Ten Commandments are the same as the morals I was taught to live by as a young child. These morals given to me by God and then taught to me through my parents not only help me treat others fairly, but they also keep me in line throughout life. To illustrate, when I am on the fence about doing something because I do not know if it is right or wrong, I turn to the Bible for instruction. When death is the topic of discussion, many people do not know what to say. Death can be scary because it is a subject that is unknown to anyone living today. This is where my Christian faith helps me out. In the Christian faith, it is taught that anyone who follows the Lord will spend life in Heaven after death on this Earth. This gives all of the Christians hope for the time after death.
