The three activities I wish to continue while attending medical school include teaching, volunteering, and exercising.

An important activity for me is to continue working as an instructor for the American Heart Association. Presenting information to students in a clear, easy to understand way helps to strengthen my understanding of the topics. There are no foreseen conflicts between this activity and my course work.

Volunteering at my local soup kitchen has become an essential activity that humbles me after witnessing the challenges encountered by those who are homeless. The Christian Medical Association Homeless Meals Program at WSU School of Medicine will allow me to continue this type of community outreach.
