The Christian Coalition of America is a non-profit organization that is a United States Christian advocacy group that serves Christian families and their values. The Christian Coalition’s main goals are to represent the pro-family values in state legislature and congress, train leaders for effective social and political action, inform pro-family voters, and protest anti-Christian bigotry.
History:
After Pat Robertson failed to get the party nomination during his campaign in 1989, he used his funds to begin Americans for Robertson, which was later given the name Christian Coalition. The original group had a mailing list of several million Christian conservatives. Forty-nine state chapters were created and they applied to become a tax-exempt
