If one would go around and ask the constituents of College of Dupage about their biggest issue on campus some would complain about the cafeteria food chains, the educational policies but the one complaint you would hear the most would be parking. Every year there are about 28,000 students who enroll, meaning they all attend by either riding the bus or driving. Since that is the case most students can't find parking, therefore they look to other options such as taking the bus, carpooling, or even scheduling classes later on in the day. Most would say the best solution would be to build a bigger parking lot or parking garage, which is…

While researching Prairie State college, a two year, suburban community college that was founded in 1957; I came across some concerning information. According to the statistics provided by Collegescorecard.ed.gov, Prairie State College consistently ranks lower than the national median. For instance, only 40 percent of P.S.C’s students return after their first year of attending this is significantly lower than the national median by 69 percent. In addition to the institution having a graduation rate of 15 percent, the average salary after attending prairie state college is an alarming amount of 29,200 dollars. After reading this I began to question Prairie State’s productivity since the U.S. Census Bureau reported the national median in 2013…

The university is able to accredit me with a baccalaureate, masters, or a doctorate degree from psychological studies to arts and visual studies. Going to WSSU would be around $5377.16, but they offer financial aid to help cover the costs.…

Nichols claims “Colleges now are marketed like multiyear vacation packages, rather a contract with an institution and its faculty for a course of educational study.” (72). This is unsound inductive reasoning on Nichols part. He does not offer sufficient evidence other than his own word or a few sporadic campus activities, very exclusive to the individual universities.…
