When it comes to my philosophical anthropology I am grounded in a theological perspective. Our textbook states that a theological reflection “provides us with access to a dimension that is essential to understanding who we are, our relationship with God, and how we ought to live” (Entwistle, 2015, p. 155). I believe that God created humans in His image and that science will never be able to explain all the intricacies that make us who we are. On the other hand, God has left us with many different ways to find out who we are and our purpose in life through the Bible, prayer, mediation and praising our creator.
